Privacy Policy

Last updated: July 2026 · This policy applies to all pages on clashbaike.com

This policy explains how Clash Encyclopedia (clashbaike.com) handles data while providing its content. This is a static content site offering a download index, configuration references, and usage guides for Clash clients in public document form; browsing any page requires no account registration and no personal information of any kind.

Scope of Data Collected

This site has no registration, login, comment, subscription, or form-submission features. Browsing any page here never requires a name, email address, phone number, home address, or other personal details, and our servers store none of that data.

Client software you reach via links from this site is published and maintained independently by its own open-source project or app store operator. Installation, configuration, and use of that software happen entirely on your own device, never through our servers—so we have no access to any data generated or transmitted while you use it.

Analytics

This site uses a self-hosted analytics tool to understand how content is being read. Data collected is limited to the aggregate level: page views, referrer type, browser and OS category, and an approximate region inferred from IP address; full IP addresses are not retained long-term.

This data is used only to gauge which pages get read, improve content quality, and troubleshoot site issues—never for ad targeting, and never shared with third parties in personally identifiable form. The analytics script is served from the same domain as the site; no third-party marketing trackers are embedded in any page.

Cookies & Local Storage

Reading the core pages of this site does not rely on cookies. Interface preferences such as language selection may be saved via your browser's local storage (localStorage); this data stays only on your own device, is never sent back to our servers, and is never used for cross-site tracking. Clearing your browser data removes these saved preferences without affecting your ability to revisit the site.

Third-Party Links

Pages on this site link out to third-party sites, mainly app store listings (such as the Apple App Store), official client websites (such as clashplus.io), and release pages of various open-source projects. Each of these is managed independently by its own operator, and its data practices are governed by its own published privacy policy—this site is not responsible for their content or policies.

The actual file transfer for any download is handled by that project's own release channel. We recommend getting the software through the official sources listed on our downloads page, rather than unofficial mirrors or third-party relay pages of uncertain origin.

Policy Updates

Any changes to this policy will be posted directly on this page, with the "Last updated" date at the top revised accordingly; we do not send separate notices. For significant changes to how data is handled, a brief note on what changed will appear near the update date. We recommend checking this page periodically to stay current with the latest version.

Questions & Feedback

This site does not maintain a public contact email. For common questions about site content or using the clients, check the FAQ page and Getting Started guide first—most topics are already covered there. For questions about a specific client's features, please reach out through that open-source project's own community channels.
